These always remind me of miniature conkers when they are still inside the capsule. Many of the trees at Ferrymoor Flash are now covered in pollen dust. Saying that we did have a nice few minutes of heavy rain last night so hopefully that will have washed a lot off and also increased the water level in the lake.
