Grey Heron


 This magnificent bird was perched close to the edge of the lake on my last visit to Ferrymoor Flash. Standing still in the shallow water wating for a fish to appear. Their orange coloured bill and grey shaded feathers make this bird look so majestic above many of the other waders.
