This area is known locally as the beach. There is no sand just a flat area that sometimes gets very muddy. Many waders can normally be found resting here. The waters edge is very shallow so I guess that is why the birds like this part of Ferrymoor Flash. I have had many messages recently asking where and how to get to this reserve. The Post Code is S72 7BN and the Map Reference is SE4008. Visiting is Free by the way.
