The berries seem to be getting ripe a lot earlier this year. Many of these trees are scattered about at Ferrymoor Flash. The Hawthorn is a common tree that flowers in the month of May. Sometimes known as as the May Tree when the pinky white flowers appear first, The whole tree is a haven for wildlife including bugs birds and insects.
