Song Thrush
This bird was perched in a tree quite close to where I was standing yesterday at Ferrymoor Flash. I love to hear their choral offerings. Numbers of these birds have significantly declined over the past years. It is smaller than the Mistle Thrush with smaller spots. On my walk around early yesterday I spotted several new nests starting to appear so hopefully we can look forward to seeing some chicks soon.
