Moorhen on Nest


 Birds do build their nests in the strangest of places. This Moorhen managed to find a tree that had fallen over the water in the lake at Ferrymoor Flash. Quite significantly hidden and well camouflaged from view. My only concern is that is its such a place that is easily accessible to predators. Lets hope it does manage to survive though and carries on to produce a wonderful family.
