Rook
This Rook was sitting perched high up in a tree at Ferrymoor Flash. I could not have wished for a better background to this picture with a lovely blue sky. These are very sociable birds and it it very unusual to see one on its own. Although the noise that was being created there could quite easily have been another one nearby.
