Pussy Willow


 I cannot help thinking these look like small furry animals. This is the stage before they actually open fully and turn in to proper Catkins. There were many of these at Ferrymoor Flash but they are gradually coming to the end of their season. More and more new growth is appearing and soon  the whole area will be green and fresh.
