Hawthorn
This Hawthorn bush is leafing up and starting to bud very early. I noticed this on a recent visit to Ferrymoor Flash. But there again everything in the world seems to be much earlier now. Could this be something to do with the greenhouse effect that is with us now? After a week of rather warm weather for early March we now seem to be going in the opposite direction with some cold weather forecast for the next few days.
